These clauses constitute all the terms and conditions of the transportation contract entered into between the Client/Passenger and Autobuses Los Chávez Inc.

At the time of issuance of the travel ticket, the Client/Passenger accepts and submits expressly and with full knowledge to the following general contract clauses and the fare table in force at the time of issuance of the aforementioned ticket:

1. Travel Ticket

• Upon issuing and signing the travel ticket, the Passenger is responsible for verifying that all the data contained therein is in accordance (dates, times, destinations and prices) and in accordance with their request, and accepts the general clauses for contracting travel tickets. journey.
• The travel ticket is personal and non-transferable, being the only valid proof to travel, on the printed date and time.
• In case of loss of the ticket, the Passenger may request a duplicate, assuming the responsibility of paying $10 dollars to reprint the ticket again.
• Changes, postponements and cancellations will be accepted up to 3 hours before the scheduled travel date indicated on the travel ticket, for a cost of $25 per ticket.
• To make any ticket change request within the deadline detailed above, it is necessary to present the physical ticket.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. grants a maximum period of 30 days to reschedule tickets with round trips with an open date, counted from the initial travel date.
• In the event that the ticket is not used on the updated date, the ticket will become void and void.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. does not grant refunds or money returns, only postponements or rescheduling according to the previous conditions.
• Tickets and/or boarding passes presented by anyone other than the printed name will be considered null and void and will be confiscated.
• To complete the telephone purchase of your ticket, the holder must present the card and identification. Otherwise, the ticket will not be delivered and a $10.00 penalty will be applied, in addition to requiring a new payment.

2. Travel Fares

• Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.
• Discounts and promotions cannot be accumulated or combined.
• All rates are quoted in US dollars; unless otherwise stated.

3. Luggage in the trunk and inside the bus

• The Passenger is exclusively entitled to 02 suitcases of 35 pounds each per adult ticket or 01 suitcase of 35 pounds per minor ticket.
• Any type of luggage that is not a standard suitcase is considered excess or oversized luggage. Examples: televisions, boxes, coolers, strollers, paint cans and among others.
• As long as it has wheels, this type of luggage will be allowed, with a maximum limit of 2 units per person.
• Excess luggage will be admitted when the capacity of the bus allows it, subject to space availability and its acceptance is not always guaranteed.
• If you exceed the weight allowed in your luggage during high season such as summer, an excess weight fee will be applied and will be allowed depending on space availability.
• In the cabin or inside the bus, only 01 piece of hand luggage is allowed, which can be a backpack, bag or briefcase with a maximum of 10 pounds.
• Traveling with cardboard boxes, plastic containers or laundry bags is not permitted.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for valuables not declared at boarding and transported as luggage.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for lost luggage without a tag.
• In case of loss, Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. will only cover the amount of $25 dollars for each suitcase presenting the tag, during the trip.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for items left on buses or terminals, nor for the loss of luggage inside the bus. Its care is the exclusive responsibility of the Passenger.
• At customs, each Passenger is responsible for taking care of and moving their own luggage to the bus.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for luggage detained by customs authorities. No liability will be accepted for loss, breakage, damage or deterioration of any item transported.
• The Passenger is responsible for carrying all the documentation required to cross international borders.
• Drivers are not authorized to wait for passengers more than 1 hour if the passenger does not carry valid and current documentation at customs checkpoints.
• The Passenger may not carry weapons or objects prohibited by law; that may put the safety of passengers at risk. It is the passenger's obligation to allow and provide all facilities to the company's personnel to carry out the inspection of their hand luggage and their person.
• It is not permitted to transport in the trunk and/or cabin:
  • Illegal drugs, chemicals and/or toxic substances
  • Illegal weapons, firearms, explosives and/or flammable objects
• The transportation of pets is not allowed.

4. During the trip

• Luggage is not allowed on the seat; Carry-on luggage must be placed in the overhead compartment or under the passenger seat so as not to block passage.
• All passengers must remain seated until the bus driver tells them to leave the bus.
• Smoking is prohibited on buses or offices of Autobuses Los Chávez Inc.
• Passengers may experience changes to the bus or seat number, depending on the origin and destination of their trip.
• In case of changes, our office staff will notify all passengers to ensure better service. Although some routes have assigned seating, we will do our best to accommodate those traveling in groups or families during these transfers.

5. Boarding and arrival process

• Passenger boarding and disembarkation will only take place at authorized terminals or stations.
• The Passenger must arrive 1 hour before the bus departure time to deliver their luggage.
• Upon boarding, the Passenger must present his or her travel ticket and identification document.

6. Child

• Children up to 6 years old have access to a reduced rate when traveling accompanied by an adult, valid only at the main offices located in Harwin, Rosenberg TX, as well as at terminals and agencies in Mexico. However, those Passengers boarding in El Campo TX, Ganado TX, Victoria TX, Beeville TX, George West TX and Laredo TX will be subject to the adult fare.
• From 7 years old, minors pay the adult fare when boarding at the main office, Harwin, Rosenberg Tx, terminals and agencies in Mexico.
• When purchasing and/or collecting tickets for minors either at the office, by phone or on the web, present your birth certificate or passport to verify age.
• Passengers under 18 years of age cannot travel alone unless permitted by their parents through a notarized travel consent letter authorizing the minor passenger to travel with Autobuses Los Chávez Inc.
• Minors under 18 years of age who cannot take care of themselves must be accompanied by a person over 18 years of age.
• For safety reasons, minors are not allowed to sit in the first three rows of the bus.
• Passengers are advised to keep minors away from the aisles and supervise them at all times.

7. Adults

• People over 60 years of age have access to a $5 discount by presenting identification (INAPAM, INSEN, IFE) when purchasing their travel ticket in person.
• Elderly or senior people who cannot take care of themselves must be accompanied by a person over 18 years of age.
• The Passenger may not travel under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics; or when your state of health is visibly not suitable for travel (unless presentation of a medical certificate), losing the value of your travel ticket.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. may deny services to passengers if:
  • The passenger does not comply or refuses to comply with the rules and regulations established by Autobuses Los Chávez Inc.
  • The passenger acts in a disorderly or violent manner.
  • The passenger is not fully clothed or is partially naked.
  • The passenger hinders the driver's functions.
  • The passenger's behavior is threatening to himself or other passengers.

8. Transportation services

• Scheduled times are based on local time zones. Departure dates and times are subject to change.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by breakdowns, road conditions, weather or any other condition beyond the control of the carrier.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for related expenses due to delays.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for acts and negligence committed by interline and/or connecting carriers within or outside the international borders of the United States.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. strives to offer Internet connectivity throughout the trip. It is important to note that in some areas there may be poor or no connection. Since the service is provided by a third party, the company cannot offer compensation or refunds for internet connectivity issues.
• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for failure or interruption in the provision of additional benefits (such as WiFi, charging port for mobile devices, individual screen or others) granted as a courtesy, not being part of the contracted service.
• The passenger is covered by the mandatory insurance policy contracted by Autobuses Los Chávez Inc.

9. Privacy Policy

• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. does not sell or share personal or financial information with third parties. However, personal and/or financial information may be shared with third parties as deemed necessary for the following purposes:
  • Credit card processing and fraud prevention purposes necessary for ticket purchases.

• Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. collects and uses full name, telephone numbers and email address in order to secure and purchase a bus ticket.
  • The full name is required to be printed or displayed digitally on the boarding pass, among other things, for security purposes.
